Whether it's a leaflet, advert, brochure, press release or website for your business, it is important to thoroughly check any text for mistakes.
Any business literature and online text needs to be checked to ensure there are no words missing, spelling errors, capital letters where they are required and correct punctuation such as commas, apostrophes, question marks and full stops are all in the right place.
Many people will only use the spell checker on their computer for this but unfortunately that will not pick up many of the errors mentioned above. For example, if you type letters round the wrong way such as typing form instead of from this would not be picked up. Using the wrong spelling of the same word could also be missed e.g. there instead of their and similarly with of and off or to and too etc. Often, because you are so close to and familiar with your own business, you can miss picking up these common mistakes on your business literature or website.
